Yeardo year, Valentine’s Day is marked by many couples who celebrate it with flowers, chocolates and teddy bears so big that you can’t help but ask yourself where they end up. The celebrations of other couples are less conventional and perhaps much more significant.
Across the country, the teams of the man and the woman are flourishing like the heart and spirit of small businesses. Entrepreneur duots like Lisa and David Burdick of Bizbliss in Mound Flowers are proving that love and business can mix.
Services that bring people, numbers and technology together
As the name implies, bizbliss is about facilitating other businesses to focus on what matters most – their growth and supporting customers. With bizbliss on your team, you can stay easily knowing that two living areas of your daily operations, accounting and technology are in the hands of seasoned experts who take care of finding solutions adapted for your needs.
Why the back office services? Well, that’s easy. Running a business is not a small feat and Lisa and David know because they have experienced it in the first hand.
“We wanted to provide services that allow other entrepreneurs to focus on their passion and business. Leaking all tiles can be useful at first, but as your business grows, you also make challenges, ”David said.
“Owners should focus on their vision and their clients. Numbers are important, but maintenance of your data and systems can be time. The time we feel, can be better spent on ‘why’ our customers go into business. “
Three years inside and some clients later, it is clear that Lisa and David are cooking a recipe for success with compliments both bring to the table. When you are married for 35 years, you just know what works.
“We have united our skills groups to help each other and add value and quality to our customers. But, we also know when to stay in our lane because we know what force or weakness may have the other, ”Lisa said.
Bizbliss Change – Love is in detail
What sets Bizbliss is the common passion of Lisa and David to help others in the community have called their family home for more than two decades. “Being part of the flower community for the last 24 years, this is our home, our extended family,” Lisa said. “Going to business for ourselves has allowed us to get involved more and we are very grateful for that.”
In fact, their common love for nonprofit organizations such as the Salvation Army, the United Street, YMCA and the advocacy of single parents is what inspired them to start bizbliss in the first place. Starting a business of their own, they can both enjoy the flexibility that comes with it.
“This gives us flexibility to enjoy our advantages. We can set the rules on how to do business. I personally want to follow stronger spiritual, family and community relationships. Having our business allows us to do it, ”David said.
Within the first five minutes of conversation with Lisa and David it is clear that the strong foundation of faith and family directs every decision they make. They lead the heart of a servant and form significant links with their clients and the community. It is all about faith.
“I always wonder why people are loyal to their hair stylists. What keeps them back, even if they leave, what makes them run extra miles to keep the same person. You trust them. You developed a relationship with them during your time in their chair.
Taking a trust jump together
Unknown is a scary thing, especially when your living is in line. “Fear has probably been a big one,” David said when asked about the obstacles they had to face in the last three years, “you have to be ready to get a dance of faith when you start your venture.”
Despite all the disagreements, Lisa and David Bast for themselves starting Bizbliss and have discovered that their common support for each other and their vision has brought them together. “You are a team and that team is better and stronger together by the support you offer to each other in the best and worst times,” Lisa said.
So for all those other couples there asking yourself if it’s worth getting a chance in your dream, Lisa and David are living evidence that is. As long as you have common goals, open communication and boundaries of well -established life, the boundary of heaven.
Here it is for all the small businesses of a hard -working man and woman and put their hearts in everything they do for their families and communities.
