As part of this change, the company will implement a new management facility.
Wilkes and Hill will take their new positions on February 1, 2025.
“This new management structure matches our international organization with our corporate business and allows us to better concentrate our resources to better manage our existing businesses, while also reaching our ambitious strategic growth initiatives across the globe, “Said Dan Beckerman, President and CEO of AEG. “By ensuring that our talent is focused on the right opportunities, we will be well positioned to offer growth, as well as new experiences and innovative services for our global artists, partners and fans.”
Beckerman added, “We have tremendous confidence in Adam and Alex, both are strategic leaders with experienced records proven. Their understanding of our clients and markets, their deep experience in industry and their newly restructured responsibilities will position them to continue to run AEG’s International Growth. “
The new AEG management structure marks another important step in its business strategy. Registration strengthens the company’s concentration on international growth and increases its ability to meet the growing international demand for direct entertainment. The best change lists the AEG class resources, the global music network and the leading industry expertise to promote operational excellence throughout the business.
“While the direct entertainment industry continues its unprecedented global growth, ensuring that smooth integration throughout our regions is essential to our success,” Marciano said. “Adam’s record in construction markets, coupled with his strategic vision and operational expertise, makes him the ideal leader to direct the international expansion of AEG Presents in Europe, further strengthening our global business.”
Wilkes has been useful in the construction of the AEG Presents Trail in Asia Pacific, turning it into a foundation stone of the company’s global operations. Since membership in AEG in 2011 as part of the initial expansion of the company in Asia, he has played a key role in creating the presence of AEG in the region. Over the past 15 years, Wilkes has led major initiatives, including a joint strategic partnership with Frontier Touring, the development of Bangkok’s Uob Live, and Nagoya soon open Ig Arena. He has also held record tournaments with global superstars and sports premieres races, strengthening the leadership of AEG presents in the Asian Pacific market.
In his new role, Wilkes will oversee AEG operations throughout Europe and Asia-Pacific, working closely with Alex Hill, President and CEO of AEG International. Together, they will approximate the strategies of promoting the company’s international concerts, expanding its portfolio of countries and following new business opportunities that further strengthen the AEG position as a leader in the global live entertainment industry.
As President and CEO of AEG International, Hill also brings years of extraordinary leadership and operational supervision focused on his new role. With his successful record overseeing the AEG business growth and the operation of its Marque countries in Europe, Hill will be appropriate to ensure the success of new AEG countries coming on-line in Asia, such as UOB Live in Bangkok and soon to open Ig Arena in Nagoya, Japan. Hill will also be focused on the advancement of other ongoing projects such as Bangkok Mall Arena and the Arena-CANCORED entertainment project planned for the redevelopment of Osaka Expo Park.
