While Lady Gaga’s recent take on the character in the live-action Joker: Folie à Deux may have divided opinion, the Harley Quinn show is still going strong, with a fifth season of the R-rated animated series will be released on the Max streaming service.
Voiced by Kaley Cuoco, the titular anti-hero once again teams up with fellow anti-hero Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) and a variety of villains and heroes from the DC Universe.
This time there’s a new location for Harley’s adventures, with the baseball bat-wielding protagonist swapping the familiar gothic landscape of Gotham City for Metropolis — the home of Superman, leading to encounters with Lex Luthor, the sister of himself, Lena, plus DC fan-favorite Brainiac.
Here’s more on exactly when you can watch the story continue and why you might want to pair the show with a VPN.

How to watch Harley Quinn season 5 with a VPN
Maybe you’re traveling abroad and want to stream Max while you’re away from home. With a VPN, you can virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to access the series from anywhere in the world. There are other good reasons to use a VPN for streaming as well.
A VPN is the best way to encrypt your traffic to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds. Using a VPN is also a great idea if you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network and want to add an extra layer of privacy to your devices and logins. Streaming TV can be a little smoother with a reliable, quality VPN that has passed our tests and security standards.
You can use a VPN to stream content legally as long as VPNs are allowed in your country and you have a valid subscription to the streaming service you’re using. The US and Canada are among the countries where VPNs are legal, but we advise against streaming or downloading content on illegal torrent sites. We recommend ExpressVPN, but you can choose another provider from our best list, such as Surfshark or NordVPN.

Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Follow the VPN provider’s instructions for installation and select the United States, where Harley Quinn season 5 will be streamed on Max. Before opening the streaming app, make sure you’re connected to your VPN using your chosen region. If you want to stream Harley Quinn on more than one device, you may need to set up each one to make sure you’re signed in. Go to settings and check your network connections to verify that you are signed in and connected to your device VPN Account. Now you’re ready to open Max for streaming.
If you encounter streaming problems, first make sure your VPN is running on its encrypted IP address. Double check that you have followed the installation instructions correctly and that you have selected the correct geographic area to view. If you still experience connection problems, you may need to restart your device. Close all apps and windows, restart your device and connect to your VPN first. Note that some streaming services have restrictions on VPN access.
